Privacy Policy — My Warranty Vault

Effective date: April 27, 2026

My Warranty Vault (“the app”) helps homeowners track appliance warranties, invoices, and service records. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

The app does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers.

All information you enter — appliance records, photos, invoices, warranty cards, service notes — is stored locally on your device and, optionally, in your own iCloud or Google Drive account when you enable cloud backup. We never receive, see, or have access to this data.

The app does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks.

2. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions only when you actively use the related feature:

You can revoke any permission at any time in iOS Settings.

3. Subscriptions and Purchases

In-app subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Apple under your Apple ID. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple; we do not access or store any payment details.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, rent, or transmit your information to any third party. The app has no backend service that receives user data.

5. Children’s Privacy

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Account Deletion

The app has no online account. All data lives on your device. To delete everything, open Settings → Delete All Data inside the app, or simply uninstall the app.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. Updates will appear at this URL with a new effective date.
